Sound healing · Mansfield, Victoria
Om is a rejuvenation resort above Lake Eildon, built on sound and mineral water. Each of the 142 villas has its own rockpool of certified healing mineral water at 38.6°C. Worldpass runs your villa for you.
Frequency and mineral water
Om pairs 2 of the oldest ways to restore the body, sound and mineral water, and you return often enough for them to work.
Gongs, crystal and bronze bowls and the human voice fill the Cathedral of Sound, a concrete hall built to hold a note. You lie down and let the vibration do the work.
Soak in certified mineral water that rises through granite at 38.6°C, in a rockpool of your own. It carries magnesium, bicarbonate, silica and calcium, and its heat lets the body let go.
Come back each season. Ordinary life pulls the body out of tune, and regular visits bring it back. Membership holds your rate and your place in the calendar.
Warm water, ancient minerals, universal vibrations.

Frequency
A concrete hall over still water, tuned to hold a note, a short walk from the spring. It hosts sound baths, frequency meditation, chant, Qi Gong and breathwork for every owner and guest.
The architecture
The Cathedral of Sound is built in concrete with Terraform technology. Its volume, its surfaces and its mass shape every note made inside it.
How a stay works
Every stay alternates the two. Heat and minerals soften the body, sound settles the mind, and rest lets both land.

The place
Rain that fell on the Victorian Alps spends millennia working down through fractured granite, then rises through a fissure beneath this site. It surfaces here and nowhere else, so these 142 villas are all there will ever be.

The villa
Charred yakisugi 焼杉 timber outside, the same timber left pale inside, and granite and water between them. There are 142 villas, and there will never be more.

The ritual
Heat, rest, heat again and a sound bowl to finish: 6 movements at your own pace, in your own rockpool.
The villa
The floor is warm from the door, the glass gives you the bush and nobody a view in, and most nights the only sound is the water. Every villa is made as Building Blocks of steel, glass wool and aluminium in the Terraform factory in Cremorne, then assembled on its site.
Provenance
Every claim made for this water rests on a certificate from an accredited laboratory, furnished on request.
